Ivan is back at Leftorium one year after his killer performance @ AA Docks. Our fave Frenchie keeps on blurring the lines of modern electronic dance-music and always thrives to demonstrate there’s so much more than a one dimensional soundtrack for a night out, it’s only enhanced by his recent hightlights as a producer with Tim Paris (under their It’s a Fine Line guise) or simply solo, with latest and upcoming remixes for Eskimo,,Visionquest, Beats In Space and My Favorite Robot. He’ll be joined by like-minded Parisian artist Chloé, whose recent B-Pitch Control 12′ has been devastating floors worldwide. Chloé has been at the forefront of the French electronic scene since the early days of releasing 12’s on Karat & Gomma till her stuff on Live at Robert Johnson and her two albums on KTDJ. Her dark and sensual dj sets have been embraced by the best clubs and festivals ever since. Together with their old friend Geoffroy Mugwump, they’ll preach the Kill The DJ eclectic and sweaty gospel in the Leftorium main room.
To keep on with the Berghain theme after Efdemin’s sensational performance in the basement back in September, we’re hosting Panoramabar’s beloved resident, Ostgut Ton label manager/artist and ex-Groove magazine editor, Nick Höppner. His uplifting and deeply melodic techno dub and house output on Berghain’s inhouse imprint as well as his commitment to push the label’s platform forward, truly reverberates in his latest “Panorama Bar 04” compilation and in his typically extended DJ sets. Always telling a tale, weaving an exciting path across his chosen musical spectrum, Nick’s mature, confident approach and depth of character sets him apart from his contemporaries behind the decks. He’ll be supported by our own Prince Off for a full-on Berlin-style night.
