As Leftorium expands on TWO floors for the first time @ Bazaar, we are welcoming in the Leftorium main room upstairs (with Leftorium residents Geoffroy Mugwump and birthday boy Prince Off), one of the most thrilling techno producers of our time and an ex-Wighnomy Bros : Robag Wruhme, a man who has created an elegant world of his own, deeply rooted in house but in which he masters the overuse of reverb next to an eminently listenable blend of chirpy beats, homespun voices and sighing keyboards. Parallels with DJ Koze or Isolee easily spring to mind and his massive discography trough releases on his Freude-Am-Tanzen and Muzik Krauze imprints or Vakant, Kompakt and Pampa, coupled with his impressive remixes for the likes of Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, Underworld, Modeseletor/Thom Yorke, Dntel or Ellen Allien makes him stand-out as one of the most fantastic house & techno artists right now. For further proof of brilliance, his immaculate sonic craftsmanship as a dj is quite obvious with the listening of the brand new mixed compilation, “The Olgamikks” for the Nacht Digital Festival and the video below (recorded last september) captures the very essence of a Robag set. You know what you are going to get !

» The Olgamikks (Nacht Digital) mixed-cd

To complement the night in style, we are welcoming one of Robag Wruhme’s favourite artists, T.Raumschmiere, the “punk-techno” dj & producer and ex-drummer in bands Zorn, Stormbow or Mos Eisley Rock. His massive Shitkatapult label has released fine music from Apparat or Fenin and his solo output is very diverse and violently daring to say the least. From dirty noises and eternal reverbs to minimal funky techno, groaning techno, schaeffel beat, snotty electro or abstract hip hop and abstract ambient soundscapes, this William Burroughs fan is avid of creating extreme and unconventional sounds that he somehow manages to translate in mind-blowing live performances. His incredible stage breaking live performances became legendary, making him one of the best live act in many Reader Polls worldwide over the years. He has been signed to Novamute by Daniel Miller himself (after an extravagant stage performance in Berlin) and invited by the late and great John Peel to record one of his infamous Peel Session on BBC radio. His dj sets are phenomenal so expect mayhem as these little vids below frankly express ! He will be supported by Brussel’s DJ soFA.
